Islander Dominic Boudreau meets Bob Barker
Chosen as a contestant for the second to last show on 'The Price is Right'
Singer and entertainer Dominic Boudreau, had one of his childhood dreams recently come true, when he had the opportunity to be chosen as a contestant on "The Price is Right" and meet longtime host, Bob Barker.
"It was an incredible experience," explains Dominic. "I can't believe I was chosen for the second to last taping of the show, before Bob Barker retires." If that wasn't enough, he also won a BBQ valued at $1,200 US and an $8,000 piano, which is fortuitous, considering he's a musician.

"Even Bob commented on the fact that I was a musician and I needed a piano,'" adds Dominic. During the taping of the show, Bob Barker took a moment to thank all Canadian viewers for their years of loyalty to the show.

"Unfortunately, cameras and photos are not allowed in the studio and I couldn’t take a picture with Bob," explains Dominic.

The second to last show, on which Dominic appears, will air this coming Thursday, June 14, at 11 a.m. on CBS. The very same day, Dominic will be appearing at the Cage au Sport, at the Bell Centre, at 8 p.m. where he will be singing his pop rock and new country compositions with a twist. Tickets are $15, for those interested.
