Calling all Island volunteers!

FLARE Magazine and GAP have announced the call for nominations for the 11th Annual FLARE Volunteer Awards. The awards aim to honour Canadian women aged 18 years and up who have made a significant contribution to the lives of people in their communities.

The awards will be presented to six Canadian women. The six recipients will be invited to Toronto in the spring of 2007. The deadline to receive nominations is February 2. Individuals, corporate, volunteer and philanthropic organizations across Canada are encouraged to submit nominations.
