Teenagers are invited to embark on a fascinating voyage

L'Ile-des-Soeurs teenagers (12 to 17 years old) are invited to attend a free seminar "Les secrets des étoiles… et des extra terrestres" on Wednesday, May 2, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the CHAPOP premises.

CHAPOP (Chantier d'Apprentissage Optimal) is located at 4080 Wellington Street, office 209, in Verdun and teenagers attending will be treated to a seminar and a fascinating presentation on astronomy. Participants will explore our solar system, discover the stars, the constellations and the universe and discuss what there is possibly left to discover. Specialists in astronomy and astrophysics will be presenting the seminar, in an effort to create interest among youngsters in science and technology studies.

The seminar is free and is open to everyone 12-17 years of age.
