Les Génériques to perform the classics

Those interested in a trip down rock'n roll memory lane, can come out to Les Serres de Verdun, this Saturday, August 18. Les Génériques will be entertaining Verdun residents, starting at 2 p.m.

From the Beatles to U2, from the Doobie Brothers and the Beach Boys to Elvis, there's bound to be something for everyone in their play list.

Composed of a singer and five musicians, Les Génériques were formed in 1999 and they will have you dancing and singing along in no time.

Before the summer comes to an end…

Some other activities have also been planned by the Verdun borough for the end of summer.

On Saturday, August 25, an exhibition and a horticultural auction will be available to the public, starting at 2 p.m. A BBQ will be taking place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The following Sunday, August 26, at 1 p.m. a traditional corn roast will mark the end of activities for this summer. Until next year!

The Serres municipal are located at 7000 LaSalle boulevard (just west of the Natatorium). Admission is free.
